Global Change Student Grant Competition

The Global Change Student Research Grant Competition, sponsored by the Center for Global Change in partnership with the International Arctic Research Center, provides support to students for research on global change presented in an interdisciplinary context, with an arctic or subarctic focus. The work may involve the social, biological, and physical sciences and engineering. Initiated in 1992, this competition is designed to give students experience with proposal writing and the peer review system as practiced by science funding agencies. Faculty mentors are strongly encouraged to assist by advising and reviewing student proposals prior to submission.
